This is definitely the best place in the area for a PERFECT BURGER! I always have the Bacon Cheeseburger with all the fixings! The onion rings are amazing! My husband changes it around each time. Sometimes the grilled chicken sandwich, or patty-melt, even the hot dogs! Worth the drive out to Martindale! On the weekends they have queso which is delicious.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. The burgers are good but the staff just acts like they don't care. We went in and placed a to go order. The lady said she would wave us down from the car at the to go window. Instead she went on a smoke break with 2 other men. Cussing and letting my burgers get soggy. And on top of that no one is wearing mask. Definitely won't be coming back for awhile and advising other to stay clear from here.nnHad too lower an extra star since they also didn't get my order right. Plain and dry burger came out with everything on it. And they didn't even bother with giving us napkins so it was a challenge to scrape everything off said burger.

DELICIOUS FOOD! Crispy chicken Melt with bacon was just as it sounds! Mouthwatering! Onion rings were great because they were not greasy at all. Very friendly staff.

Pass this place all the time when I visit San Marcos and I finally stopped in for a cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings. The angus cheddar cheeseburger was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The texture and size are very similar to a smash burger. The veggies are fresh and the buns had the ideal kiss of heat. The onion rings had classic southern home made taste. The barn itself is worth the stop, it houses an antique safe large enough for a party of four to dine. Customer service went above and beyond to make our dining experience one of the better I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend stopping by for an old fashioned burger.
