Great access to a lot of affordable and/or free parking. Cute bit of nature and solace amid the hustle and bustle of downtown. Centrally-located, so a good place to get your bearings straight. Also has several photo op spots, and decorates for Christmas and other events.

I was just strolling through downtown San Antonio and stopped at this location and was surely impressed with Travis Park! I needed to charge my cell phone and also my laptops for both personal and professional use. Travis Park has outside plugs which during this time is a rare event. Kudos to Travis Park and the management for providing a safe and awesome place to enjoy the park and some nice people too!

While it may seem like there are many different types of people, the park setting makes up for it. The park is surrounded by awesome buildings and a hotel that sits across from a church, all of historical significance. I think the woman who saved the Alamo from destruction in the late 1800s had her funeral there. The park also hosts events, when there isn't a pandemic.
