This is a fabulous place to take you baby to socialize and learn. Mine is 10 months old. He loved going and doing the activities with the other babies. Ms. Jessica is fabulous. She is great with all the babies. There is plenty of activities and equipment. I highly recommend it.

My son hasn't been to his classes and he missed almost one month of class. He has never enjoyed going to Gymboree class. He always cried and didn't like going there. One time the teacher actually forced toys into his hands and he didn't like that at all. He also has doctor appointment twice a week for allergies so we haven't had the time to go. It was a combination of many different circumstances. So today I went there to cancel his class because I was told I have to go there in person to cancel. The manager wasn't rude but she had a very condescending tone. It seemed like she was just trying to convince me to stay by putting me down. She told me that the classes were designed for children to like them and if a kid doesn't like it, it might be because he has anxiety, hard to get along with others or may be hasn't developed enough to enjoy the class. She asked me if has the same problems going somewhere else. I told her that I take him to the library for story times and activists where there are a lot of kids and he is fine at the library. She said that she has seen kids like my son before and things will continue to get worst if I don't expose him and the best way is to continue with the classes. She also said I should mention he doesn't like Gymboree class with his pediatrician.nnI was bothered with her response but I left anyway and called back trying to speak to someone above her but turned out she was the manager. I told her my concerns with her tone and she said that she was just speaking on BEHALF of my son. She doesn't even know who my son is. She probably has never met him or observed him in class. How does she think she should be the person who speak on his behalf?! And then I told her ok maybe next time if I would like to cancel classes maybe she should have told me my son should be seen by his pediatrician. And she told me she apologized if she had offended me but it is her right to have freedom of speech and she should express her thoughts. However, I think she is in customer service so it is important to express her thoughts in a way that won't be offensive to others.nnI would like to reenroll my son when he gets older and his allergies treatments are less frequent. However, I don't know if I want to bring my son back anymore because of my conversations with the manager at the huebner location today. I felt like she was very arrogant and condescending. She made me felt hurt because without knowing who my son is she assumed he has problems and is needed to be seen by his pediatrician for social anxiety. I wonder if she is a Licensed healthcare provider who is qualified to give out advices like that? Is she a licensed educator who specializes in child development? Why is she so educated to put me down like that? I think she should have worked with his teachers when he started so help him if she really cares like she said. But Gymboree never reached out to me with their concerns of my son. They only told me this when I finally decided to cancel my enrollment.nnP/S: 3 years later I was going through all the reviews I have written and came across this review! Just an update, My son is now 5 and he does just fine lol he loves playing with other kids and very sociable. He didn’t need Gymboree class to be social. Save your money. Your kiddo will do just fine. Each kid has their own pace and they will do things once they are ready. No need to worry and be stressed out. Peace

Decided to finally give the free preview a shot and give my 1yr3mon old some time to socialize (and finally start to get out of the house after many months cooped up due to the pandemic). I signed her up for the walkers class although I did feel she probably would be more of a runner but I went with her age. The class was okay... the “teacher” seemed a bit nervous and maybe inexperienced (I saw her reading or looking at her journal) which is totally okay, everyone starts somewhere but with the amount people pay for these memberships, I’d consider having someone either more experienced or more with it. I am an elementary teacher myself but took the year off because of the pandemic to stay home and care for my little one. So seeing this was a little cringy.nMy child was more interested with exploring the obstacles (I mean her attention span is small, of course). I would return to try to see if the Runner’s Class is any better or more intriguing or even just open play but $99 a month is waaaay too much especially with the preview we experienced. They said they would wave the ~$40 entry fee if I signed up the same day as the preview but I decided not to go with it. The facility and play sets were nice though. I’ll just have to find a more economical way to socialize my baby.nOverall: Just okay, too expensive, nice facility.

Highly recommend not signing up and if you do attend you should only pay for individual classes. Canceling your subscription is appears to be impossible. Nobody available to take your call and messages are never returned. Apparently, the business model is to get you hooked and give you no way out.

I started taking my daughter when she was six weeks old so I had an excuse to get out of the house and socialize. It's been amazing for me to meet other parents and watch my daughter interact with other kids and get lots of encouragement for hitting her milestones. I feel like it's helped her to be more social and open to new people, adults and children. It's also just plain fun for both of us. ..it is a tad expensive, but if you do the unlimited classes and go to the open gyms, it's definitely worth it.
