Velvet Taco

First time we ate here was in Houston and it was delicious, we live in San Antonio and was happy they add one in San Antonio! We went today to try it out again the salmon was good. But the buffalo was not. The one is Houston had ranch and white rice in it. The one is San Antonio had blue cheese crumbs & buffalo chicken, that messed up the meal. You should just of left it like the one Houston white rice and ranch! And for that we gave it a one star! Should of kept it consistent

They have great concepts for tacos even if they don't hit the mark for all of them. And I love that they have good selections for vegetarian tacos... But no one is going to want to wait 55 minutes for them. Everyone can understand that a new restaurant (or at least a new location) is going to have to work the kinks out in the beginning; but there's not much of a reason for the online ordering system to inform me to pick up my tacos in 15 minutes, and I am told upon arrival that it will be 15 to 20 more minutes due to high volume, and I receive my tacos 40 minutes after scheduled pick up time. On a Tuesday. I hope they get the service together, because they offer a very decent taco, especially the beer-battered cauliflower and Nashville hot.

First time visiting velvet taco. I went to go check in at top golf and since the wait was 2 hours I decided to go to velvet taco which was no more than a block length of top golf and when I walk up I see Rudy Gay of the San Antonio Spurs. I just chucked a deuce at him just to keep it cool and that way he could continue and enjoy his meal with his fam. The food was amazing the service was amazing the management team did a good job of making sure we always had everything we needed.

Kinda embarrassed at how many times I’ve came here since they’ve opened. Their ranch water is the best. Christopher has helped me a few times I’ve stopped by. Awesome dude and great vibes. If y’all don’t drink, come for Christopher’s hospitality!nnThe last time I stopped by I forgot to mention one of the items was to go. Even after it being my mistake, Christopher made it to go. Awesome dude.

The staff are very friendly, and the food is dope. Velvet Tacos is amazing. I love the concept of Velvet. The idea of taking culture, being influenced by it, and improving it. My new favorite restuarant in San Antonio. I can't remember her name, but the girl in the red hair in the front was super helpful in my first visit.
