I went to this location, which is not my neighborhood location To get a flu shot since the one I normally go to, inside of target, has poor hours for people who are working during the week to be able to get a flu shot.nI get there about two hours before they closed and went right back to the pharmacy to ask what I need to do. I saw the pharmacist and what I'm assuming was the technician and yet neither one of them acknowledged me. Not then. Not ever.nLike all CVS pharmacies, they have three separate lines at CVS. One is for a consultation, one is for picking up your prescription and another one is for dropping your prescription off. There was a sign at the Consultation area that said “Get your Flu shot here”. Since the other windows (Drop Off & Pick Up) didn’t have the same sign, I could only believe I was in the proper lineso that's Where I was standing. On one of the social distance circles on the floor and I didn't see anyone else in line behind me nor did I see anyone else in line at the drop off window. I did see 7 or 8 people hovering around the pick up window but since the pharmacist and the technician has still not ask me how they could help me I figured it was best not to bother them since I knew that I was in the right spot already.nWell after maybe 10 minutes, a woman who is with the group hovering around the consultation window came over to me and told me that she didn't want me to waste my time but that the pharmacist had said to them that all of the lines had been merged into just one at pick up and I should join them at the back of the line.nIt was clear that out of the 78 people that were in that line, five of them were a family and I knew that it wouldn't be too long before the pharmacist got to everyone in the line. Well after another 15 minutes of waiting in this line and not one of them has been helped yet I asked the person directly in front of me how long they had been waiting. She gave me this irritated look in rolled rice and said almost 40 minutes And that they were all waiting for flu shots.That's ridiculous.nFlu shots are going To become a huge part of the American experience in the next couple of weeks. They were only two employees behind the counter. One technician who was at the drive-through window the entire time I was there which was almost 40 minutes myself, and the pharmacist who also never once said hello to any of us in line.nPharmacy staff at CVS need to have their expectations and priorities readjusted at some point because you're gonna end up with a large crowd of people trying to get flu shots but the pharmacy staff is going to be trying hard to work on prescriptions which they know are directly what affects their key performance metrics.nEither that or add additional staff that can help get flu shots while the pharmacist fills prescriptions.nAs for me, I thought to myself that I would just come back in an hour but once I left I had no interest in getting back out and so they lost my business that night.
I have had mixed experiences at this location, some good,some not so good. Today, the pharmacist on duty went above and beyond his station in my opinion, just wanted to say Thanks Sherif,great job in helping me with my situation.
The young girl at the cashier actually asked me if I wanted my change back which was only two cents but really? Why would I not want my own money back. Two cents or two dollars! Since when do they collect tips. Very tacky.
This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. Waited in line in the drive thru and it look so long then I pulled around to go in and still waited. I was the only one in there. Such a shame.
Twice using this pharmacy. The first in December my Losarton took three weeks to get filled.nNow after waiting two weeks after the text message saying prescription is getting filled I was called and told they can't filled the prescription. I have to go to another CVS 8 miles out of my way to get it. They won't ship to store or mail it to me.nThis place has been very undependable for me
