This review is based on my first meeting with Dustin. We spent a couple of hours taking measurements and designing my new boots as he explained in detail the process and advantage custom boots over store bought boots. For myself I have one foot slightly larger than the other on top of diabetes which can make store brands painful to wear. Also the fact that nearly all major brands of boots now are made in China and are not the same quality they once were. They probably won’t last you a year and I have found them to be difficult to break in. I have friends who have worn the same pair of custom boots every day for many years. Some other reasons I chose Dustin to make my first pair of boots were turnaround time, around 10 months, and price. And the service was very personalized. A good custom boot maker is not cheap but Dustin’s prices are very fair for a high end pair of boots and he guarantees the fit or he will remake them. You won’t be disappointed and you may just make a life long friend in the process

Dustin Lauw (Duck’s Heritage) made me the finest pair of boots I have ever seen- absolutely perfect custom fit, phenomenal one of a kind look - everything a man could want in a pair of boots.nnIf you want some ok custom boots done quick, go on over to luchese; however, if you want truly bespoke boots that will last more than your lifetime with flawless fit and finish, don’t go anywhere except Dustin at Duck’s Heritage.nnBeyond all of his skill/talent, Dustin is a great man and has become a great friend during the process!!! I have no idea. Ive never even heard of it. Didnt know boots had anything to do with a ducks heritage. 4 stars for reaching me something.
