Russ and Tim are the BEST! I had a complete HVAC system put in. The pricing was very fair. Their work was top notch. I would highly recommend A1 to anyone. Russ went above and beyond.

Mr Turner came to fix the heater the same day I called him. He is a very nice gentleman, but...He was able to make the heater work in less than 20 minutes. Turned it on, double checked it worked (quick test), and left. That night I realized the heater was not working again, 35 degrees outside. I emailed him about the situation and he came over the next day, tried to identify what the problem was but could not. His conclusion was that there was a problem with the wiring somewhere. He indicated that an electrician was needed to figure out the problem which was beyond his capabilities. Well, I was a bit surprised because I expected him to do the electrical part related to the heater, but I could not do anything about it that point. He basically gave up on the task (very odd). A day later a company from Cookeville came over and identified the problem relatively fast. It was indeed a wire making a bad contact. After that the person from the company spent about 40 minutes checking other items and testing to make sure all was ok. I would like to support small businesses but I was very disappointed with this experience.

Wow. What a great experience it was with Russ! We just moved to McMinnville a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, our heating and air unit outside began to make a TERRIBLE noise over the weekend. I jumped online Monday morning, and saw all of the great reviews for Russ. I filled out the contact form and requested a call. Russ called me and I discussed with him the issue. We quickly worked out a time for him to come out, and he seemed very diligent in his attempt to come out the same day. He arrived when he said he would. Now, here was one of the things I enjoyed most: He was friendly! He seemed to genuinely enjoy helping me out. Yes, I understand he was paid, but still, I have utilized several companies for different services, that not only over charged, but was repair man was very grumpy WHILE they over charged me! The part I needed was not the cheapest (much because of the brand of unit I have) and Russ was upfront and it. However, I feel the repair price was fair and it CERTAINLY was prompt! I usually do not hover around when someone is repairing something, but I so genuinely enjoyed talking and getting to know Russ and again was pleasantly surprised and how down right kind he was. I signed up for maintenance and service and I now have no need look any further for a quality repairman for my heating and air. Honest, fair, prompt, and kind: what more can you ask for?!

Do not waste your time with the other ac and heating repair companies in town. Russ is the most honest, thorough and knowledgeable repairman I have ever had experience with, in any field. He spends as much time as it takes to get the job done correctly and his fees are fair and honest. Trust me, use Russ if you want to save time and effort and know that the job is done right, the first time!

Read Russ’s reviews first and then hired him for a service and NEST install. He was prompt, professional and courteous. If you’re looking for an A/C specialist look no further. His prices are reasonable, actually better than reasonable and he’s really a genuinely nice guy. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
