Sun Studio

Another item checked off my bucket list I didn’t even know was on it! We ended up here because my daughter is in love with Elvis. We made a HUGE tour out of her love for Elvis. Sun studios did NOT disappoint! Amazing! And our tour guide was just as great! He kinda made the tour with his excitement in the history! GO! You won’t regret it!!!!

One of my best experiences in Memphis. A place were rock and roll history happened. All music lovers super cool place:). The tour itself was a lot of fun, exciting and not too long. Our guide was very knowledgeable without being tiring and you can see he loved the music and the events he talked about (he even created a playlist of the songs he mentioned - a nice touch). The gift shop is nicely decorated, (another nice touch) and a good place to hang around while waiting for the tour to start. Some parking at the back of the place, very convenient

Mark was an amazing tour guide, and the other staff were so friendly! Everyone in the group felt welcome and at ease about asking questions. We were told about the other big names that made Sun Studio, and also all of the historic recordings that happened right where we stood. We even got to sit at the drum kit that U2 used on Rattle and Hum! Make sure to make time to stop by and see them!

The staff are super nice and so welcoming! A guy when I first walk in (I didn't get his name) was super friendly and easy to talk to. The guy who gives the studio tour is really nice and funny, also he has a very lovely calming voice. If you visit Memphis you have to come to Sun Studio

Tour guide Drew provided and enthusiastic and informative experience. You can feel the history ooze from the walls of this hallowed place. There are documentaries about Sun Studios to stream - I would recommend watching one or more before visiting. Hospitalty of Memphis folks everywhere a plus.
