This place is the best synag on Memphis.
Very spiritual welcoming Congregation. Just feel Women are treated 2nd class but that's very Orrhodox.
Came to this synagogue several years ago with my 10 y/o daughter for a Hanukkah (some other Jewish) festival and camera crew were there, both of us are non Jews, everyone there ignored us, we were the only blacks attending and at first everyone was outside in the cold drinking hot cocoa, nobody greeted us or said hello, NOBODY, we stood out naturally. Left bad taste in my mouth about Jews.
So wonderful!!! Great people!!! Definitely give this place the Mrs. Excellence stamp of approval!!!
Just the best. The warmest, most welcoming shul one could ask for. And you can’t beat Rivki’s cooking — she is truly a culinary artist!
