I had a water damage at a unit at this great value storage. I told the property manager, I took pictures and sent the property manager a video. I had insurance on my property but sadly, Its been a year and I still have not gotten anything for my damaged items. I've called for months asking for my claim and haven't got a response from the property manager or any one from great value storage. It's been financially hard for me to get everything I lost in that water damaged from the great value storage unit I had. Please do not store your things at Great value storage. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

If I could do 0 stars I would! Management is horrible at this place! No one ever there to answer the phone and when you do talk to them, they make promises they don't keep! This place has charged me 3 consecutive months auto draft after I moved out (with giving notice as required). Contacted them about it and it's still happening. Had to go through my bank and seeking legal action! They also have a rodent problem, but I should have paid the extra $10 a month somewhere better to avoid that. Storage renters beware!

I wrote my review on the wrong place. This is the place with rats on Lamar. None of my stuff is salvag able I have to get rid of everything. Good thing I have renter's insurance outside of their insurance. Please run away. No price is good enough to rent here.

The most horrible storage place ever. The property manager is very unprofessional and nonchalant. The unit was infested with rats big ones! My stuff had rat droppings and rat piss all through it. I will never ever rent from Great Value Storage on Lamar in Memphis TN ever again nor do I recommend this dump of a storage to anyone. Please don't waste your time or money

Very Very Very Unprofessional. Last month with them. This storage facility on Lamar is INFESTED WITH RATS....I MEAN INFESTED. it does you no good to get insurance because it doesnt and wont cover anything. Ive lost thousands of dollars in property, BRAND NEW due to rats that they dont treat. THIS IS A HONEST REVIEW AND I HAVE PICTURES IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE PROOF. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Go somewhere and pay to save you in the long run. Those storages that charge are actually the ones doing all the necessary up keep and maintenance. This facility is CHEAP for a reason
