My rating of 5 is based upon my personal experience. However I will write out the good and bad about this mosque to give you all an idea.nnGoodn--Diverse group of people from all kinds of backgrounds. Regardless of color, income, culture everyone there gathers together to worship.n--Everyone who goes there regularly is friendly. People simply come here to pray. Great group of people who are focused on their worship. They never hurt anyone nor are they there to cause trouble. Just hard working folks who are trying to better themselves. Some even bring their children to teach them about Islam.n--Weekdays have decent turnouts for Maghreb and Isha prayers. Weekends have many more people. Friday prayers are always packed from front to back. Also offer a live English translation in a separate room whenever the Khutbah (sermon) is preached in Arabic.n--Offer various programs for children and adults to learn about Islam and the Quran. Have a Quran Hafiz program for children as well.n--Most of the times after Salat ul-Isha the Imam will give a short lecture on Quran or Hadith as a simple daily reminder.n--Friendly and willing to answer Questions about Islam for Muslims and Non-Muslim community as well.n--Walking distance from UofM Campus. About a 5-10 minute walk.nnBadn--With the rapid expansion of the Islamic community, the parking lot is not nearly enough to accommodate everyone as Friday prayers have massive numbers. If you do not get to Friday prayer early enough, you will have to park around the surrounding streets or in the parking lot church across the street. But for any other occasion or prayer, the parking lot is enough to fit all people.

Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim, As Salaamu Alaikum, In Memphis from Atlanta, searching for info/locations where Eid ul Adha prayers will be held in the Memphis midtown area. After a thorough search online, and a number of phone calls to the various masjids, seeking at least a recorded message that would render a time and location for the BIG, most important annual prayer for the muslims! To NO avail!!! Sincerely. sis Rahimah

Medium-large size masjid. Mixed community. More than 20 people offering zuhr prayer on a Sunday. Weeknd classes. Small playground for kids. Medium size parking lot.
