Beautiful. Terrain varies from forest to rocky rim to fern-laden creek bottoms. Plenty of rock formations as well. ~3 miles one way gets you from parking lot to the other end of the canyon near Pickett State Park.
When I visited, I did the Overlook and Upper Canyon trails. Lets just say, it was a great hike, really nice views, definitely visit if you can
