My husband and I work very long and hard hours, and were over do for relaxation... this was the first time being here. All this week I've been in total awe.. the campground is absolutely beautiful, the views of the lake are beautiful. We were at site 24 and to fish and swim from our campsite was wonderful.. we rented a pontoon boat from willow marina for 24 hours and pulled ti our campsite. The whole experience was exactly what we were looking for.

We spent 4 days here recently and loved every minute! We stayed at site 61, steps from the lake, and it was perfect. The only downside was that we had zero cell service (Tmobile is our provider), but in the end it really wasn't that bad to be disconnected from everything for a while. The campground was simple, but absolutely lovely. All the staff were super nice and helpful. We'll be back!

Very clean. Beautiful area with gorgeous sunsets and sunrises! Water is so clear and friendly atmosphere from camp hostess! Only negative is the road leading to the campground. Extremely curvy!

Lilly Dale is a beautiful campground to look at and enjoy. It has young trees that were planted several years ago when most trees there were lost to pests.nMost of the camping spots are either on the lake or have views of the lake from your camper. There is also an island that is just for tents, complete with portable toilets.nUnfortunately, there is a problem there with pets that are often brought. Pets are fine with almost everyone. However, the last three times I camped there, animals were walked and their owners were not cleaning up after them at all. There is so much dog feces on the ground, you will step in it everywhere you walk when in the grass. There are Canadian geese there also and that can't be helped, but the dogs' owners could, but choose not to. I watched time after time while owners walked away from their responsibilities without care. I am not stepping in that mess anymore and taking it back to my camper. I choose not to go back to the campground. The hosts do not care to enforce the rules. People with small children need to be careful where the kiddos walk. There is duck and dog feces everywhere. I also witnessed several dogs on their owners sitepad off their leash. They were big dogs and as people walked close by, I was worried for them. Fortunately, the unleashed dogs stayed under the awning.nThe campground is different than it was 10 years ago. Rules are not followed not are they enforced. They are in place for a reason. After an unfortunate incident occurs, it will be too late.
