The owner Wes is a wonderful person! Spacious spots and a friendly atmosphere. My family and I couldn't be more pleased with this RV park. He works hard at keeping up, building on, and adding improvements! It is by far the best experience I've had at a park. I highly recommend staying at Cook's lake RV! One of kind experience 10 stars!! ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dnTJ

First let me say that Wes, the owner is very kind & welcoming and the campground has major potential. We were there for 4 nights. The website is somewhat deceiving, makes it look better than it actually is. There are full hook ups but the sewer hook up is directly under your rig, good luck in the mud. There is WiFi but it is very slow & we had no luck with it. There are piles of trash & debris throughout the park that needs to be cleaned up. There was no pad at our spot, just grass, muck & mud. They really should invest in gravel for the pads & repair the potholes on the roads. We did not use the very small laundry house & there are no bathrooms & showers. They do not offer a military discount & we feel overcharged for what we had. This place really has a lot of potential & it’s a work in progress. If things improve & we’re back in the area, we might would stay again, but things would truly have to be better. Good luck!

My review is not about the property, but about the policy. I was told I needed to make a reservation to ensure a spot when I was to begin work in the area. Due to illness, I had to cancel my reservation. 3 weeks away from reservation date, I was told the had a zero refund policy. This is stated nowhere on their website. So I'm out of work, fighting this virus, and out $600 due to greed. When I get better, I will not be staying there.

We have stayed at several Rv parks throughout our trip south and this by far was the worst one. Lots are complete mud and the cement pad is a 10x10 spot at the front of the camper to the right. The pull thru lot that we rented we had to drive down a muddy two track to access. We came with a clean rig and we are leaving with a muddy mess. Our view was three abandoned campers and boats! Additionally the full hookup is located underneath your unit! Yes you heard me right the owner guided us in and told us this is where you park, we asked how do we access the full hookup? He told us to crawl under the rig or move and dump in the am..... additionally this was the most expensive Rv park we stayed at..... we won’t be back and would suggest if you have a nice unit to not stop here.
