Civic Park Trailhead

Fantastic experience. If you're a hiker do not miss this one. My wife and I are traveling the US hiking trails everywhere, blog link in bio (Gu:gl chasingdirt).nnWe've been sorely missing good hiking as we spent the winter in Florida.nnHitting the White Rocks and Sand Cave spur this clocked in at 9.5 miles, 4100+' of gain. While the view from the White Rocks was stupendous, it was the Sand Cave that wowed us. We had some good rain yesterday making the waterfall flow. Some nice Spring colors popping as well, 4/11/21.

Great trails and they have a picnic area and restrooms. Lots of parking space, too. There is a gas station at the main road if you need snacks before you hike.

Great place to start a hike to sand cave and the white rocks over look come early because parking can be limited due to popularity of this area.

I hiked to Sand Cave via the Ewing Trail and White Rocks on rocky moderately strenuous trail. The Cave is beautiful and a great reward for a day hike.

What a beautiful surprise the frozen waterfall was.
