My husband, granddaughter and I enjoyed our stay last week. Absolutely loved our creekside site. Was clean and in a convenient location. I did not meet the Manager, but the Owner was very nice. The lots were a little smaller than what we were used to, but the larger campgrounds in the area didn't seem that much different. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

Park is small and difficult to get large trailers in. Location next to Dollar General made it convenient! Lady who runs campground is nice and helpful. Her husband recommended some great hikes for us.nAt first, had problem getting a hold of office. But, once we figured it all out there was no issue. Two different office contact numbers are listed. Was very confusing.nSite was right off a busy main road. The sites themselves were small and completely covered in weeds, where rocks should be. Extremely rutty! It was very muddy too. The leaves piled up, never was blown. Internet was in and out. Very few tv channels. Pool has nasty green water in it. Campground is convenient to downtown. Trolley stop is not far at all. There are goods and bads about this place. Everything in town was super easy to get to. Once sun went down it was nice.

COVID19- CORONA didn’t stop the friendly social distancing camping experience. We made friends ranging from 88-to a sweet little 6yr old. The property was clean and well kept. It’s close to Gatlinburg with a Trolley stop right in front, a Dollar General & restaurant next door or a short drive to all of the activities.nLoved the creek site so much we spent hours sitting in our chairs with our feet in the water. This was such a relaxing place to stay we decided to extended our trip for another week. A+++

Not very impressed, the lots are very very small, sitting out front our rv and the sewer pipe isnt even 5 ft from our chair and that's the neighbors pipe which our cousin was suppose to be there but they lied about the site he wasn't able to get his camper in there so he had to park across the camp ground, so that was upsetting, creek may flood the banks are low and its suppose to rain ,so if you dont mind being lied to about the sites and being in close quarters to other campers this is the place for you.

Camping in the Smokies has some advantages, but also disadvantages. This campground is conveniently located on the Gatlinburg Trolley System. It is far enough from the city that it is quiet. There is a small stream that campers can back up to.nnThe disadvantages, most of the sites are gravel, narrow and not level. There is swampy ground on either side of the gravel, daring you to get stuck in the mud. Proximity to the stream generates lots of mosquitos and gnats (swarms that get into your mouth and nose) that make being outside very uncomfortable.nnI came through Gatlinburg ten years ago and this campground has not improved in that time. I favor campgrounds that reinvest in their facilities. It shows confidence in their business. This campground struggles to get three stars.
