Imagination Mountain Camp-Resort

We have been coming here for years...kids love the place and always find new friends to play with...each year. There is a game room, free Putt-Putt, life-size chess, Three Creeks to play in, movies every night, an ice cream parlor and a pirate ship playground... With a basketball court that seems to be popular. There's also a heated swimming pool when the season allows. There are cabins with restrooms and showers, rustic cabins, yurts, tent camping and plenty of RV space. The property backs right up to some trails up to the Appalachian trail. There are also daily crafts and activities scavenger hunts and other fun activities for the kids. My family checks in and would stay here the whole week without going anywhere and be just as happy as they can be.

Slightly disappointed with this campground. The reservation process is frustrating. I tried to call several times and all you ever get is a voicemail. You have to email for available dates, and when you do you still have to call and request the reservation. They also don't list that there is a four night minimum for the ENTIRE summer, which is fine, but should probably list this under the minimum night stay category on the website, so people don't waste yours or their time. Just so disappointing, really thought my kid and my extended family would enjoy this location, but will just go to another location that has an easier reservation process and are upfront about their reservation policies. Lost mine, and two other families business.

We have been camping in the Smokey’s for years, this time we decided to try Imagination out with the kids! BEST decision EVER!!! Incredible family owned business, they truly care about their customers and want to make your stay the best it can be!! Our 40 foot RV had a beautiful spot! We played volleyball, ate ice cream in the parlor every other night, kids played in the stream, had a water gun fight that they put on....the list goes on!! Thank you for being so awesome!!! This was my first vacation in over 15 years, and our first family vacation with my significant other. So choosing a favorable campground was paramount, although difficult not being familiar with the area. HOURS went into selection a campground. I read reviews, articles, and even looked at satellite photos. We wanted something that had a good camping atmosphere (a lot of the surrounding campgrounds were like pulling in a parking lot and setting up camp) but also wanted a place with decent amenities (elderly parents were following along and staying in their conversion van).nI can honestly say I could not have been happier. The campground has a very festive vibe. The facilities offered mini golf, evening movies, giant chess, game room, pool, trash pickup, and a gift shop with supplies and ice cream (which my father said was the best he had during our stay in Gatlinburg) and much more.nI didn't use their restrooms or bath house much but my father said they were well kept and clean.nAnd best of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing's worse than staying at a place you don't feel wanted.nIt was an amazing stay, thank you Imagination Mountain! (Site 24, pop up truck camper and white conversion van week before last ;) )

Beautiful campground! Sites right next to a babbling stream make for a super relaxing environment. Staff was very friendly. They took us right to our site and helped us park our camper perfectly (it would have taken us several tries to maneuver the trees on our own). We will definitely be back!
