Mountain Glen RV Park & Campground

My wife and I just got back from our first RV trip and loved our stay at Mountain Glen! I don't know what to expect as a newbie but MG was very clean and well laid put. Good view of the lake and pasture. It was very low-key and the other guests kept to themselves. We only stayed 3 nights and dry camped so the 5 individual bathroom/shower stalls were perfect (and nice). Just over an hour to Ruby Falls and Rock City/Lookout Mountain. Reserve the spots closest to the lake (28 was one of them) and you get a little extra yard which would be nice for dogs/kids. Also, wifi was very good the whole time.

The RV spots were really close together and there was not enough space around our spot go really enjoy a fire or eat at the picnic table without being right on top of the rv next to us.nOther than that, it had a beautiful setting with a pond for catch and release. The bath house was incredibly clean and there was a laundry facility as well. We would probably stay there again.

The staff is extremely friendly. On the phone prior to arriving as well as in person. Very clean campsite. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors much as it rained during our 3-day stay. But it was quiet, and the view was beautiful.

Amazing RV park that's nestled in the mountains and not far from falls creek falls state park! The view from my spot was amazing, I believe I got the best spot in the whole park!

**** NOT FOLLOWING ANY COVID - 19 GUIDELINES. *****nThis place looks nice and sounds nice when you look at the photos and reviews online. How they got individuals to write those reviews is beyond me. Its fair at best! The sites are extremely small and narrow. Most of the sites have 20 degree ramps that you're expected to park your RV on. The woman we spoke to at the desk actually laughed about that. She was rude and smelled of alcohol. There are dirty old seasonal units everywhere. The best sites you'll see are the ones that were used in the website photos ( like all hotels do ) . They claim great WiFi but its no different than any other park, its ok at best. There is no cell service at all. We definitely recommend skipping this park.nRead more
