World's Largest Fire Hydrant

Quirky attraction in downtown Columbia SC.

I love the unusual art that is part of a city, and this is a twofer. There is this cool fire hydrant. Watch out for big dogs. Then across the parking lot is the tunnel mural. I find myself looking for Wiley Coyote and the Road Runner.

What a cool place to visit! A fun roadside attraction in Columbia to stretch your legs on a road trip. It isn’t difficult to find as it does stand out! This destination is not far from highways. The sculpture is surrounded by parking lots for easy parking. Have a great time on your visit!

Yes, it is an impressive piece of art, it needs to have surrounding art that supports or enhances the environment, not just empty lots for parking,the painted wall is showing signs of its age. PS: Love the city and its ton of history.
