It was under construction when we went...

Great new solar panels must help power the pavilion and a free stage 2 electric vehicle charger to get solar juice on a sunny day. Great winter time recreation area. Small but nice.

A very special place.nnSurrounded by the sounds of wildlife instead of the city. If you go patiently, quietly enough, expect some close encounters with local wildlife. My son and I were fortunate to see everything from deer to woodpeckers up close. And a skunk, sorry we didn't hang around to take a picture of that, haha.nnDon't underestimate how much there is to see here, the trails alone easily add up to a couple miles. So plan ahead to take some time here. It's worth it.nnThere is a dedicated play area for small children, however it was under construction last time we were there. I intend to come back with the kids and check it out though- what I saw from the outside looks wonderful.nnThere is a paved walkike trail nearby that goes almost straight to Jefferson Park.nnProfessional photographers are required to purchase a permit first.nnNo biking, these trails are foot traffic only. Mostly level terrain, well maintained. Nothing narrow or difficult.

Beautiful trails and a lot of wildlife to see like deer, turtles, and many kinds of birds. We see deer every time we go. It's fun to see them with the kids.

Great reserve to unplug and be with nature. Bird watchers favorite spot in the area. You will spot a wide variety of animals. Activities and events for everyone. Well kept and clean place to visit.
