I have attended this library many times over the past 23 years since moving here.nIt may be a small library in a small town, but it has the resources of a large library.nIf they don't have it...Carolyn will do her best to get it for you.nVeronica is another pleasant helping librarian.nIt has a lot of archived information on Pikeville and surrounding area....nMovies to rent, access to computers, a large table in a separate room for a group...nJust a pleasant place to be...all libraries are.nPlease....Support your local library...borrow a book.nIf we don't, one day they too may be gone, and that would be one great loss.nAs a child, I loved library day at school.nNot everyone has a computer, so books are the old dependable way to knowledge.nWhen the power goes out, and your wifi shuts down...your books don't.nTo have a book in hand, where one can flip quickly through pages for reference, is often my preference.nBooks take you to another place, be it garden, travel, DIY, a time in the past, or a make believe place, to escape reality for a brief time.
