This park does improve so much over the last 20 years. The city has established the creek with a larger wetland threshold now to mitigate the flooding problems in Neighboring 5 points. Boardwalks and overlooks now run along the newly-formed wetlands. Plus there is a beautiful Martin Luther King fountain and memorial. The community center with a gym also exists here along with a community garden and a playground, with swings
This is a wonderful little park right next to a street of houses.
Was looking forward to checking out the gym and shooting around on the basketball court. Only to get there and the doors are locked and lights off like it's closed, even though it says it should be open. I saw a good review about basketball play here but I wonder when they are actually open smh.
Million man March was awesome we drove 9 hrs worth it people where nice and helpful
