This place can be accessed via old garners ferry road. However, this place us sealed tighter than Fort knox. The phone number does not work. They have not posted to Facebook since 2018. I was hoping I had finally found a park where I could fish at but sadly I'm disappointed yet again.
Everything was locked, no entrance where the map shows, and the water looks stagnant.
Such a beautiful place with good atmosphere.
Lovely intimate park perfect for grilling and fishing but please be aware that there are snake and alligator warnings in certain areas. The park also has a few fitness activities, and the path is pretty good for a nice jog around a few times. Permitted that it's not crowded.
From the point of view of someone who has just found this park, I was impressed with the condition of the walking trails, facilities and docks which overlooked a nice small lake. It's a great place to take my dog for a quick walk.
