A fantastic little find tucked away in downtown Columbia! While the Pandemic has made their normal offerings/services difficult, I highly recommend checking this place out for their vast loose leaf collection and local charm. Plus the owner's really starting to grow out an excellent collection of handmade candles that I highly recommend.

The tea market is a hidden treasure right off the Congaree river in downtown Columbia. The back porch is a wonderful place to relax and you can rent it for events. The owner is a tea expert. She features many delicious, sophisticated tea drinks with every kind of tea imaginable from all over the world. She also holds tea classes and tastings. She's the source of amazing teas you can brew easily at home. Her Earl Greys are outstanding. You'll never get Starbucks tea again.
She is a flavor expert. She knows just the right pairings. I always enjoy having tea with Jen.
The Market Tea Room is a truly enchanting place and Jennifer, the Tea Mistress is amazing!!!
