We need more places like this in Laurens South Carolina. We need places where children can go play safely and have a great time make awesome memories with their families. We need a steakhouse so how about it Applebee's Outback anybody want to come to Laurens become wealthy? Because everyone wants a good STEAK in Laurens South Carolina. God Bless America!!

It's unfortunate, the park is a really great asset to the community. It is time for a update. Every holiday season they put up Christmas lights for our community to enjoy. My children and I took a walk through the Little River walking path last night to enjoy the Christmas lights. We discovered several of the displays had been knocked down, not plugged in, or simply starting to show their age. I believe has a Lawrence City resident, it is time for reinvestment in our community. This isn't meant to be a political piece, however the park is starting to show its age, the lighting displays are in need of updates and repair, and the walking path needs to have updates to the concrete and drainage systems. For what it is, it is a great asset. For what it could be, additional taxable dollars and opportunities to grow our community.

Little River Park is a hidden treasure in downtown Laurens used less frequently than its atmosphere warrants. It is a peasant place for children to enjoy outside time with their family, and for friends or families to enjoy walks along Little River. Especially in the evening at Christmas time, the lighted scenes reflecting in the water make the walk along the river beautiful.

Beautiful park. Only issue was some recent improvement on the metal bridge that had a piece sticking out. My son ran head first into it and got a real nasty knot on his head.. other than that, it's a nice place to take the family.
