Let me start by saying Mindy our waitress was really friendly, with an awesome bubbly personality. She recommended the Mac and cheese which was delicious. It may not taste like your southern grandmama but it was decent and tasty. I will say the only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the mashed potatoes were instant and the squash casserole was not the best. However everything else was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back! The manager was really nice and he made up for the casserole!
Our waitress was inexperienced but she was nice and attentive. No complaints about her. But the food.... BLAND BLAND BLAND AF!!! Some of the chicken I got my kid's was raw and bloody. Not the southern food I'm accustom to. This was my first and last trip to Lizard's Thicket. This place needs Chef Ramsey bad.
I had to leave a review because this is the best service I have received in a long time. Lizard thickets not only provided us with amazing meals , but our waitress Taylor and the waitstaff Tron made our experience here one that we will never forget. Kindness, attentiveness, and love was nothing short from these 2, as well as the rest of the staff that greeted us as we came in and as we exited. Make sure if your ever in the Florence area, please stop by and give their homemade country cooking a try. You won’t regret it! Happy holidays
Service was very good. Server was extremely attentive. Seated immediately. Food served quickly. Food quality was excellent. Value for the money was very good.
I recommend this restaurant highly. Great southern meat and veggies, super friendly and attentive waitresses, great prices! I had chilli that was great, and wife had chicken and waffles, that was amazing. We will eat here every time we are in Florence!
