AMAZING food and service! Can't find good food like this where I'm at. Cam was the best waiter I've ever experienced! Blackened flounder was amazing and the crab cakes were the BEST we've had. Love the atmosphere...upbeat, excellent attitude throughout the whole place. Can't wait for our next trip through so we can stop again.

We depend upon reviews everywhere we go. We went for dinner here based upon the ‘great’ reviews. What a mistake!!! We started off with crab bisque and crab fries. The bisque was just okay but you could taste the heaviness of the flour. The crab fries ... well, let’s just say it was soggy waffle fries with very small pieces of crab remnants. So disappointing. We should have stopped there, but after an 11 hour drive from NY, we were tired and hungry. My husband then ordered a seafood platter that included breaded shrimps, crab cake and hush puppies. Also served was some kind of bean ensemble. The only palatable portion was the shrimp. The hush puppies were over-breaded. The crab cake was burnt. The bean ensemble; well, words can’t describe the distastefulness. I ordered shrimp and grits with andouille slices. The presentation was similar to mush. The grits were without distinctive texture and resembled mashed potatoes. The gravy poured over the mush didn’t belong with seafood. I was only able to eat the five shrimp. In summary, sadly based on this first time contradictory review experience, I will be less trusting. The meal was a little over $70; what a waste of hard earned money!!!

The she crab soup was absolutely to die for. I have been dreaming of it for weeks. My wife got the flounder po boy and loved it. The oysters on the half shell were so fresh and tasty I could have eaten a few dozen by myself would it not have bankrupted me. I will definitely be coming back here again and again.

Service was GREAT...but the food was “good”. I had the blackened thinking it was going to be what I’m accustomed but it left a bit to be desired. I don’t know if it was lacking seasoning or salt, but something was missing. I also didn’t like the fact that the skin was left on the fish. That should be spelled out in the description of the dish because not all will like the skin on their fish. I would’ve ordered something else had I known.nnAll in all, I liked it (3 stars). I didn’t really like it (4 stars), or love it (5 stars).

After being at hospital with a loved one and eating bad food for several days, the aroma and taste of Tubbs grilled seafood platter made up for everything. It was fresh, seasoned well, grilled just enough, and the oysters didn’t taste slimy. Seafood platter was more than enough. Will make two meals out of it.
