Made an unplanned stop at this historic site only after seeing the landmark marker on highway. So glad I made the stop! I was awestruck coming into the property from the main road. Very well cared for and so tranquil. Hiked the trail around the whole property while stopping to watch and listen to the water ways. Huge trees along property as well as bits of historical structures. Really glad to have made the stop. Spent about an hour. Well worth the $3 entrance fee!

Enjoyed this historic site very much. The park ranger inside the museum slash gift shop was very knowledgeable and informative. Will definitely visit again when we have time to do the trails and visit the waterfalls

Great place to go for a hike. There's two separate areas at the site, separated by a short drive. One trail starts where the gift shop is and loops around along the river and by a pond and is about a mile long. The other is a short drive away and takes you past Horseshoe Falls and then onto a loop trail past the Battle site. It's a fairly easy hike and is about 1.5 miles long.

Great place to stop and learn battle history. Recommend walking the two trails then go into the mill house to learn how one hour battle played out. Amazing experience to walk then learn. The walking paths are layed out well with signs to read along the way.

Great place for a short hike along the Enoree River or a picnic on the pond. There are 3 well maintained hiking trails. Very good visitors center/gift shop with an exhibit on the revolutionary War battle that was fought here.
