Draper WMA Sunflower Fields

Great trail to walk. It’s about 3 mile walk on a wide gravel trail. A lot to see , ponds, creeks, crops, woods, and abundance of wildlife.

Now one thing that was a surprise in addition to the natural glory were the bumble bees. We didn't get stung but they were EVERYWHERE ‼ufe0fA Beautiful Place INDEED‼ufe0fud83dude0dud83cudf3b

Yes, it was hot!! However, it was so worth it! Simply beautiful, fields of sunflowers everywhere. Big & small, many varieties. Fields of corn separated the sunflower fields so there is some walking involved. Once you find a shady spot to take it all in, you realize how amazing it is. Must see to believe.

Bring water! I promise, it's always hotter than you think. I highly recommend going early in the morning--we went today at 9. After 10 or so, it's just way too hot and can get crowded. Although the blooms are coming to their end, there are still a few gems to admire.

It was such a beautiful day at the sunflower fields! We had such a fun family day. The drive to get to the fields was kinda confusing but well worth it. Bring water and take some great pics.
