Lake Wateree State Park

We had a great time on our lake front site. We stayed at #27. It had a lot of space. There is space by the lake to put chairs and hammocks. The campground was very clean and quiet. The only complaint we had is they were remodeling one of the bath houses and the only other one was a far walk. Our camper doesn’t have a bathroom so we like to book sites near the bathhouses. There was nothing on the website saying it would be closed. We would have chosen a different site had we known.

Very nice paved camp sites most shady. Was very clean. Great walking trails. Has little store. Will definitely go again. We went early March.

Absolutely amazing. Went camping in my van for a weekend getaway. Jimmy, Camp Host, made me feel welcome and was available if I needed anything. Beautiful site, great hiking, southern hospitality.

Absolutely breathe taking. A hidden gem of a State park. The water views from each camp lot is peaceful. A bit small space but sufficient.

Didn't get to stay long, but it was very pleasant.
