Los Magueyes

We visited a week ago and had wonderful food and reasonable service. Tonight we go around the same time and have to ask for menus after being there about 10 minutes. Ok they weren't that busy. Then a few more people came in and sat close by. After 20 minutes we finally get our order taken. As did the table behind us. 40 minutes in and the other table has been served and we are on our 3rd drink refill. Really. 50 minutes and still no food saw us asking to pay for the drinks so we can leave. They only had one cook she said. Sorry but that is not acceptable unless you tell us when we come in that it will take longer. And cook the orders in order!!!!

First the good news - The place looks really nice and is comfortable, servers were very nice, prices were good and the portion sizes were huge.nnBad news - Margarita was HUGE but I truly believe there was zero alcohol in it. It was purely margarita mix. I am extremely sensitive to alcohol, to the point where my family makes fun of me because I get drunk off the neck of a beer. I drank the WHOLE margarita and felt absolutely nothing. And even more telling... my face/neck didn't get red and blotchy at all! HUH?? I'm telling you, one sip of wine and I have tomato cheeks. This was disappointing. Also, the beef did resemble dog food. Not extremely tasty at all. Sorry, I think 3 stars is generous.

The waitress was very RUDE! From the moment we walked in she kept forcing us to give her an order & when we asked for more salsa she kept getting louder at my mother “you gonna order something?”. Clearly my mother was gonna order she just was asking for more salsa!! She proceeded to snatch the menus from us and didn’t take the order right on purpose! Then we got a male waiter that helped tremendously ud83dude0a, the same waitress from before went to serve a white couple and sounded happier and peppier! But acted as she did towards other black customers! This was very uncalled for! If you want good food visit the location in rock hill, they are much better!

Clean and the Food was Real Good order 77 Great Big XX. Watch your bill it gets bumped.

Food is excellent. Service excellent. Cleanliness is excellent. Felt extremely save with covid threat. I cannot recommend enough.
