Charlotte Douglas International Airport

If someone blindfolded you and walked you into the terminal, you'd swear you were in an Upscale mall. Loved it! And since I'm a foodie, definitely loved the food court and restaurant options. Two thumbs up to the gentleman at Carolina Pit BBQ for recommending the Chopped BBQ Chicken. It was Excellent!

It was my first time making a connecting flight through this air port. My mother had a wheel chair . 3/5/2021 We had a Jamaican fellow named Howard ( who I ran into on my way back through the following evening 3/6/2021) who took Mom around in her wheel chair. very personable and very nice fellow . We talked about Bob Marley ( I am a musician) seems like he enjoys what he does. It's said the quality of a business is only as good as the people who represent it. If everyone else is even half as good as Howard, this place should always get five stars. Please if you read this, please say hello to Howard for me. The drummer from Philadelphia and keep up the great work

Way too busy for such a small airport. Avoid if at all possible. Not sure who runs it but they need help badly. Flights are late leaving and arriving because of full gates and flights trying to get in and out of them at the same time. Have been there three times and it was the same each time. Would much rather come in at Raleigh and drive the extra miles then deal with this place.

Have to give these five stars to Omar who is a supervisor for Prospect. They do the wheelchair transportation for the airport. I have heart issues and cannot walk very far for long periods. There was two of us waiting on transportation and time was running out and we needed to be on the entire other side of the airport. Think gate E to gate A & B. Anyone who's been to Charlotte knows that's a good hump. Omar is the supervisor everyone should pray to have. He grabbed both our chairs and started pushing. He got us almost there when someone grabbed the other passenger and he got me to my gate and did not leave until he was convinced I was safe and in a good spot not too close to a crowd of people. WAY TO GO OMAR!!! HOPE YOU'RE AROUND FOR MY RETURN FLIGHT. Prospect you are lucky to have him!!!
