So absolutely peaceful! I will be returning! I found this lake on google maps on my trip back from Texas and stopped here for a rest. I didn’t want to leave!

This park isn't fancy, but it is fantastic for getting away from the city on the cheap. The sky is dark enough for milky way shots right from your campaigning lot. And it's less than half an hour drive from the best dark skies in the South East. There is plenty of nature and wildlife to photograph. And plenty of typical lake activities as well (boating, skiing, swimming, fishing). And they have better than expected local area shopping and medical. It really is fantastic!

Nice and spaced out and has a boat launch with the restroom near electricity and water up to site 48 I believe. has electricity and water, covered with shade and spread out you're not on top each other
