Beware! My husband called this company to get a price to help unload furniture from a moving truck. He was told $125/hr. There was no mention of a minimum number of hours, just $125/hr. There was also NO agreement of unloading ONLY the truck. They showed up, on time, and unloaded the truck in 55 minutes. They did a good job there. When we went to pay, they said there was a 3 hr minimum and charged us $375. We had more boxes to unload from my van and had paid them for 3 hours of work so they agreed to help unload the van, they were very nice when agreeing. I told them there would be a little bit of a wait because our camper had to be unhitched from the moving truck. They said no problem. After waiting 30 minutes, they said one guy needed to go pick up his daughter but the “guy in charge” said he’d be right back. We were ready to unload 5 minutes after they left, but no one ever came back. If they want paid by the hour, they should be available the entire time, otherwise they need to charge by job, not hourly. This isn’t the first company we’ve used for moving, but it was the first disappointing experience we’ve had. We will use a different company next time.
Jump Moving and Delivery is an Amazing Company!! Communication from scheduling to the day of was well! They arrived early, were very professional, and the process went very smooth. They went above and beyond!
