Never disappointed no matter how many times we dine at Sakura. Beautiful presentation of cuisine. Amazing flavor combinations. Excellent chef specialties. Incredible and attentive service. We'll come back again and again.
My family generally likes Sakura. Last night we decided to eat in dining room instead of wait 25 min for the hibachi seating. We made a mistake! The wait for any of our items was so much longer. We got our entrees before we even got the soup. One of our beverages wasn't served until halfway through the meal even though it was ordered first. My sister ordered a specific mojito, it was about 15 minutes and we asked about it a few times. They finally brought it but it wasn't the flavor, just oh we didn't have that flavor here's this one at full price. My daughter ordered noodles, they brought rice. We informed them of the mistake, they brought noodles and still charged additional as if we had wanted both. There was enough staff walking back and forth that we stopped and asked where things were after waiting significant time for, but things were still not taken care of. And waiting for the bill was even an additional terror.
The teriyaki beef was done exactly to my liking. The food was good overall. They accommodated to our group well.
Graduation party with the kids and grandkids, nicely social distanced, they took great care of us. It was lovely. Will be back for the next graduation too. :)
Sakuras is the best sushi place around the Fox Valley Area. The staff is friendly and the owner is such a sweetheart. Sakuras has a wide selection of sushi/sashimi for a fair price. The fish tastes fresh and each roll is constructed well. You cant go wrong with any of their rolls and they have new rolls every so often. Also, their sushi tacos are great! I would suggest coming here.
