Meers Store and Restaurant

They couldn't get our order right. We tried there fried bread and butter pickles. They didn't taste good. Ice cream was good. If you want steak don't go till after 5.

2 stars because the one time i went (years ago) and they were actually open the food was good. However after Yesterday, my family will never attempt to eat there again. A staff member watched our family walk in and stand in line behind another party to wait to be seated. They then allowed the party in front of us to be seated and told us that was they were the last party to be seated and they were now closed. As we were walking out and my husband was ranting to me about them not telling us this information, a staff member informs him in a rude tone of what time it was (7:17), and that the website states that they close at 7pm. Which my husband explained back that the reason we we're upset was not that they were closed, but because they allowed us to wait, instead of saying something to us when we walked in.

I've been here before food was awesome and cobbler is unbeatable but I came about six months ago and they closed at 2 when the hours showed to be open later then today I checked on google maps before leaving then I drove an hour and a half for a day trip with my family planning around eating here but they are closed yet again. Wasted two trips now and ruined our family outing because they don't update their hours on google maps.

Worth the drive but always call and make sure they are open!! Did that once, not call and dang it it was a no go!! The food is incredible and the desserts are even more so. Yummy mouth is watering just thinking about this place

Food was great, especially the dessert. You get plenty to eat. A little costly but you have a enough to eat twice off one plate. Great location. Staff were great until we got to the end and one decided to block us in and asked if we ch were checked out. We paid no attention to the rude question as if we tried to eat and run, kindly said yes and left with a laugh.
