Ted's Cafe Escondido

Clean , greeted well , seated fast, awesome friendly staff, I had the nachos to start. Then I had the endless tortilla soup. The price wasn't bad other then that. I wish they would try or get another recipe. If your looking for a fancy tomato soup this will do. Staff was very attentive. Made sure our drinks where filled. TED'S is not one of my favorite restaurants but I gave it a try.

We attended a funeral at FSI national cemetery. Afterwards we had reservations for 35 people at a nearby restaurant. The other restaurant lost or reservations and couldn’t take care of us for 1-2 hours. We saw Teds up the street and came there. They welcomed us and seated us all within 15 minutes (with no reservations) Immediately the service began and was excellent. Our servers got drinks and food orders all correct the first time glasses and chips were never empty. Our food all came out together and in a very timely manner. It was all correct and hot. Again service, glasses stayed full and everyone was taken care of. After they were quick to clear our empty plates and never rush us. I have eaten in restaurants where I paid $200 per plate and not had the service and great tasting food I got here. Thank you for saving the day and providing such an awesome dining experience. Everyone in our party is now your customer for life and if in Lawton will be eating with you. Have a great day and keep doing what you do!

The decoration is top notch. At noon, itʻs quite busy. Totally worth your money.nService is good. Food is good, with giant portions.nWeʻre not close to Mexico so we canʻt expect the real authentic Mexican taste but it was fine.nThe waiter keeps serving us fresh drinks when ours was empty.

Great service, lots of condiments. Food is good, not great. I'm a fajita eater and I've had lots better fajitas other places. But thats just me. Someone else may like these better.

Delicious Mexican food. Very speedy and efficient service. We enjoy coming to Ted's when we're in town. Great place for lunch or dinner.
