Good fishing spot depending on the season
This trailhead is currently a secret gem on the Oshkosh Riverwalk Trail! The photo of the trailhead parking dated The parking and facilities on the Michigan Street Riverwalk trailhead are brand new now and excellent! It’s a great place to start when biking or walking the Riverwalk trail! The Michigan Street trailhead also has a launching pad for canoes and kayaks for getting into the Fox River. There’s also a long pier for fishing that overlooks a tiny fishing shanty village. The four shanties are what is left of a once vast riverside Shantytown of hobos and subsistence fishermen. If you want to tour all the fun spots along Oshkosh’s RiverwalkTrail this trailhead is a great place to start!
