The hike/walk from Moses Cone Manor along The Flat Top Rd to Flat Top Lookout Tower is well worth the final view and the views along the way. The open spaces of a working farm and the lookouts along the chicane path are fantastic. Easily accomplished with a 9 & 10 year old.
Very nice hike if you are wanting a longer hike with a slight incline. Bring a jacket, can get a bit windy sometimes.Beautiful views
Loved this trail since it’s super opened and an easy hike compared to some other trails. It is a long walk and mostly up hill but I enjoyed how opened it was. Beautiful views for sure! It’s an overall great trail if you’re not one for narrow long trails in the woods.
Great place to walk to (I think approximately 5 miles round trip from the parking lot) and an incredible view once you get there.
Fun hike and great views from the Tower! I'll be back!
