Serenity Haven Camping

My 5-year old daughter and I car camped for one night at Serenity Haven. We had spent the day at Mount Rogers, visiting the wild ponies. I didn't realize most campgrounds in the area close from November- March. Luckily, Serenity Haven is open year-round. Randolph and his partner couldn't have been nicer. I felt very comfortable camping here as a woman alone. The peaceful creek made sleeping easy. Our camp site was primitive and cost $30 for the night.

Outstanding hosts. Beautiful, peaceful and serene campground. The trout stream is lovely and the water running over the rocks is relaxing especially at night around the campfire. We enjoyed fishing and wading in the stream. There are trails where you can spot some local wildlife or just explore and take in the beauty of the surrounding nature. I could not have been happier with our stay, the hosts are very communicative, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend planning a stay at this location.

This spot is amazing. Far end of the camp is where we set up. An open field along a stream or river depending on the rain. 25 mins from Blowing Rock

Great place to camp right on stream. Randy is very friendly, accommodating, helpful and truly wants you to enjoy your experience here. First time here but definitely not the last.
