This place is very pretty. Some might even call it a hidden gem. It's a tiny piece of unnoticed nature in the middle of Oshkosh. I would have given it 5 stars but it's clear that some sort of shenanigans goes down here from time to time. Hopefully, it's just teenagers and not some deranged homeless person waiting for an unsuspecting explorer, such as myself. Then, I found out about the chemical spills from a nearby plant that would leave that place toxic for generations. And that was, of course, after my daughter and I waded in the stream. It is a beautiful place, tho.
Great little trail sponsored by the nearby assisted living community. The trail follows Sawyer Creek through a wild flower rich woodland. On the far end the trail loops around to bring you back to where you started. Benches and birdhouses abound so you can take a seat and watch the wildlife for a bit.
The huge shady trees, a littlenstream, and the flora provides the serenity i need for uninterrupted inspiration ud83dudc4cud83dudc83ud83dudc4d
Secluded place for a good time.just don't tell my husband
The area here is well taken care of and feels very welcoming as well as relaxing.
