Locally owned, family friendly place. Great service at a very good price! I get my oil changed, tires rotated, inspections and new tires here. I've never been disappointed!

Why is this place getting so many good reviews? I’ve never written a review, but I had to today! Just left there & have never been treated so rudely before by a business. Took our company car today to get looked at because two of the tires were flat. I called beforehand & the receptionist was really rude and annoyed because my boss didn’t know what was wrong with the tires. We’re not tire experts, they are. Right? She told me to come in, I did and I get there and the guy says it’ll be “well over an hour” before it can get looked at. But he had enough time to spend 10 minutes putting air in my tires and when he was done, he rudely said “all your tires were flat, you haven’t checked them in a while” and walked away, didn’t say anything when I said thank you! I was nice & respectful the whole time, because that’s what a business does.nWill be taking my business elsewhere. You guy need to stay away from here!! I got treated rudely from the start over a car that I was taking for someone else. :) love it here

Mr. Joe will take care of you like you’re family. Rare to find a place that will always give you an honest word about what needs to be done and prices that simply cannot be beat. I won’t go anywhere else.

Since moving to Fuquay-Varina in February, my girlfriend and I have been going to one place to get work done to our car. It started when we saw all the great reviews for T R Ashworth online and decided to give them a try when I needed an oil change and inspection.nnWe walked through the doors and were greeted with a smile by a sweet old lady named Kathy. When we told her we were new to the area, she launched into telling us all the main attractions around the area and gave us a little history about the town. We were then introduced to Joe, and he came across as a really good guy who knows his stuff. And unlike the place we used to go to in Cary, he ended up giving us the oil change without trying to up-sell us into getting a new air filter or something.nnA couple months ago, we had to go back because we had a faulty headlight (which had been a problem for some time), a tail light that had gone out, and brakes that were so shot that they made a grinding sound at every red light. His pricing, given the labor of replacing both back brake systems, was fair and his service was within the day.nnAnd just the other day, we had to bring my 2008 Chevy Cobalt in again because my front right tire had blown out near the Target in Holly Springs. Without an appointment (though I did call ahead to see if he'd be able to help me), he changed out both front tires within the hour and at a price that I would say is very competitive.nnI don't know how long this business has been around, but it's obviously a real staple of the community. I know the Ashworth family is well rooted here and owns other places like the clothing store down the street.nnWhile they work, my girlfriend and I find ourselves walking around downtown Fuquay and getting drinks at the local stores (like Stick Boy or The Mill) while we wait. And when the guys are done, I can pay the bill and leave without feeling like I've been scammed.nnJoe Ashworth is an honest man with fair prices, and his team does excellent work. Top that off with the friendliest secretary you'd ever meet (who always has time to educate us about the history of the town, which I find so interesting) and T R Ashworth is the place to go for car repairs, oil changes, and inspections.nnEven though I don't like having to get my twelve-year-old car fixed too often, it does give me comfort knowing such a place exists if I ever need them.
