MUST READ!!!!!nnMy family and I are from the Fox City Area, we normally go to A+ Cuts in Appleton, we missed our appointments for my fiance and son, and had to reschedule. I wanted my fiance and son's hair cut badly, we had a special occasion this weekend. I was looking all over and stumbled across Rich's Barbershop, saw awesome reviews and decides we would get their hair cuts there, from where I live it's a 40 min drive to Oshkosh from Appleton. I called and actually spoke to Rich, told him I needed 2 hair cuts in the Oshkosh location, and told him I usually go to A+ cuts because I live in Appleton. I also told him I wanted a design on my son's head. Asked if they did that in Oshkosh location, and he said they did. He told me to just walk in. Unfortunately when I arrived to the Oshkosh location the hair stylist was booked. I was so upset, because I was just told to walk in and we could get my husband and son in and I just drove 40 mins out for nothing. It was just one hair stylist, she was very nice, and even though she was booked she offered to cut my fiancé and son's hair because I was upset, I didn't mean to be upset her, she didn't do anything except offer her attention and service! She couldn't do designs for my son as well, which is understandable so that's why I decided to just leave! Kudos to her for offering her service, I just didn't want to waste any more of her time, since she has a client. I apologized to her immediately and decided to call Rich back. I seriously thought our conversation wasn't going to get anywhere, because I was highly upset, but he was so professional and so kind!! They all were, so how could I even be mad at them!!!!!! He told me to come back to his location, and he would cut my Fiancé and Son's hair on Monday!!!!!! So I'm returning, it was so kind of him and he didn't have too, he offered his time, and said he would make my boys look fabulous!!!! Thank you to the staff and Rich for being so kind. I'm sorry I was upset, they won't have a cut this weekend for the special occasion, but will look brand new on Monday! Rich was super nice, and so was the hairstylist in the Oshkosh shop. That's what makes a customer return!! Some businesses will just say screw that customer in our situation and move on but Rich didn't do that. He even offered to cut my son's hair today but it was getting late!!!! I appreciate you so much! Thank you! Can't wait to meet you Monday!
