I will say that I am unhappy with the service I received.nnTook my Jeep here for 2 services to be performed. Rebuild the rear differential and fix my Caster issues on the front. I clearly stated to not replace tires on my vehicle even though it needed it done, as I had planned to get them replaced at a later date. I was soft quoted (verbal quote) a price of 600$ for the rear differential work plus the parts and service to correct the front camber issue (which was front control arms and the alignment) which would have been around 1,000$ in total.nnI contacted Galloways to check the status of my vehicle and was told that my Jeep now had 2 new tires and work was completed. I ask where my tires were and was told that due to lack of communication between staff, my orignal tires were hauled off for scrap and now I was being charged for 2 tires.. I am not the type to accept free things so I somewhat accepted the deal of getting the tires at cost instead of paying regular retail price which totaled around 300$. To add to this, the tires are a different size than my other 2 tires, not by much but different none the less.nnIn the end I paid almost 1400$ for my service here. I worked in automotive for almost 19 years and this is the first time I have ever taken my vehicle to a shop for repairs since I normally do all my own repairs. I will say that they are friendly here, and the work done seems to be doing fine so far (been a few weeks since completed) and my orignal issue was mostly resolved. But some things could be done better.nn#1. Give more information to your customers about work that was performed. Consider showing customers old parts that were replaced instead of just trashbining them on removal.n#2. Provide customers an Alignment printout when performing an Alignment Service. I am not sure mine was really done properly as my steering wheel is off slightly to the left and was before any service was done.n#3. A more aggressive customer would have insisted the tires in my situation were given to them for free. Mistakes like this are unforgivable and regardless if you don't want to lose money as a business, when it is your mistake then you need to take responsibility so you understand what policies need adjusted within your business to avoid further incidents in the future.nnThe automotive industry is tough. Please be more careful in how you interact with customers and please respect their wishes. Thanks.

Great family to do business with. Fro. Tires to maintaining your vehicle to aftermarket parts, this is the place to go. Very reasonable on price.... highly recommend.

I have an 05 Avalanche that had the Service 4WD light on and the 4WD had stopped working. I had a mechanic tell me that the Encoder Motor needed to be replaced. I bought it through Amazon on my own and replaced it. Long story short- that didn’t work. I bought and replaced a few other parts that it may have been and took it to 2 different dealerships- the first of which told me I needed a whole new transfer case (Chevrolet in Concord- do NOT take 4WD issues there).nFinally saw this place one day, made a call, and talked through everything I had already replaced and what it was doing with Chris. He advised me on possibilities and I scheduled an appointment. It turns out the New Encoder Motor that I had purchased through Amazon was bad. He had it back together and operating properly for a great price in a few hours.nTHANK YOU FOR BEING SO KNOWLEDGEABLE!!!!!!
