I drive by the Grille regularly as I pass through Rockingham. As such, I decided to take the family a meal at home. I ordered two roast plates with macaroni and cheese, okra, and rice with gravy and an additional cheeseburger plate. The food was ok overall. We were both raised on food like this but have adapted to a less salty diet and so the salt content was noticeable to us whereas it probably wouldn't be to most people in this area. The best part was the tenderness of the meat. The proprietor really understands how to slow-cook meat to bring out flavor. We didn't like the sides as much -- the macaroni and cheese, for example, had too much pepper. I would give it another try but my family wasn't as happy with the food.

Great food, reasonable prices & friendly staff.nEspecially love the grilled pork chops & the collard sandwiches.

Marsha and her team have done amazing with this place. Good food good service cheap prices. Feed the family for 20 bucks to 25 bucks. Awesome!!!

Very friendly staff, food was great, and it was very clean... its a halfway point for us going to beach will go back in the future
