After a long day of shopping we just happened upon this cozy place and decided to try it. Everyone was glad that we did. The food was amazing. Our table had the fried oysters, catfish, scallops, big shrimp, coleslaw, fries, rice and gravy, hush puppies and green beans. The sides we're meh but we didn't go for the sides. And did I mention that the seafood was delicious!! And the portions were large. This is now one of our favs.
I used to come hear over 20 years ago while in school and living in the area. Still the same great food and friendly hometown feel. First place I went to eat when I got back to town.
Very busy but worth the weight. I gave it 4 stars because they forgot one of my sides and my crab legs didn't have any seasoning. I will definitely give them another chance

WINTERVILLE LOCATION DOES NOT PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. ON LAST VISIT SEATS WERE AVAILABLE IN BACK BUT THEY WANTED TO SEAT US IN THE FRONT, WHICH EVERY TABLE WERE PACKED. WE WAITED 20 MINUTES FOR A TABLE IN BACK, WHICH WE DID NOT GET, SO WE WALKED OUT.
