Customer service doesn't lack. They have great staff. Very attentive. I ordered a tamale. Anyone who is raised on homemade knows they always ask before ordering. I did. It was dry and double cooked. Not something I would recommend. My partner had a steak that was cooked perfectly! Really it depends on what you order. Why my 4 stars is for service and my partners dish my dish the tamale was a 1 star!

They were super accommodating with me questioning every ingredient of the items I planned to eat (jalapeno allergy). It must have been a slow day as we only saw 4 other groups of customers while we dined. While we ate, the kitchen and front of house staff sat down for lunch around 12:45. It's cool that they have such a tight knit family there.nWe didn't hit up their salsa bar...but my husband enjoyed their bean dip.nWe ordered a single portion of chicken fajitas and queso and as with most restaurants, that was enough food for both of us to leave full. They put the adobo sauce on the side. I enjoyed it and my husband didn't prefer the flavor.nThey served a small scoop of a sweet corn pudding with the rice/beans. That was SO good! We wanted to take some home for dessert. Make sure you get some of this! If they'd served a bigger portion of this, we'd probably have given them 5 stars!

Love the place, love the food! Has great flavor in the food unlike some places where their meats are bland or very unauthentic. Great amount of food for the prices and quality is excellent!!!!!

Jalapeno Fresh Grill is the best Mexican I have had in Texas, Florida. and North Carolina. My mom was born in south Texas and I grew up eating Tex-Mex all my life, and I lived in Texas a total of 20 years, so I am pretty picky about Mexican food.nI have NEVER EVER had anything from this place that wasn't absolutely wonderful tasting! And you get so much that we get 3 meals out of each dinner we get! Can't say enough great things about the chef and staff there! 10 thumbs up!!!ud83dude0d
