Las Salsas

Tried the green sauce chicken milanesa and it was really good. Place is very spacious and can accommodate many, yet there was no delay in getting our food. One star less was because our table wasn't completely cleaned though I did see someone regularly cleaning and sanitizing all tables. Also the quantity was way too much, and as not everybody likes to get a to-go box, I saw a lot of food getting wasted, which I personally don't like.

This has to be the most un-Mexican food I ate at a Mexican cuisine restaurant.nnAll food we ordered turned out super-bland, even when we had requested to have it made spicy. The beans, rice, stuffing inside the burrito was all flavor less. All that could be tasted in the burrito was salt and cheese.nnI don't understand how this restaurant got such high rating.

First time I have ordered from here. I used the online ordering tool and had it delivered. Which means I paid an extra delivery fee. Since it was not going to be eaten right away I asked for all sauces and sour cream to be on the side. When the two burritos were delivered we received everything but those side items.nnI called and I was told that they would see if the delivery guy could bring them to me and if not they would call me and let me know. Or I could come and pick them up, which negates the whole purpose of ordering for delivery and paying the fee. I asked if they could give me a credit. The manager replied that they could not but that they would add them to a future delivery, I would say gratis but I did paid for it. I said to let me know.nnAbout forty minutes later, after no call back, I called and told them I would like to have them include these items on a future order. The manager that I dealt with earlier was too busy to talk to me. That alone is worth not coming back, since I am not worth their time and effort on two scores. That is not good for business. I am not mad and venting my spleen, in the bigger scheme of things this is minor. It just isn't good customer service.nnIn the service economy, first impressions are hard to reverse. After reading other reviews, I want to believe that this is just a one off experience. Having done customer service most of my life I understand how hard it can be. But the attempt to treat every customer as a first time customer has to be made. And every effort should be made to make the experience a good one if something was done wrong. I hope the owner and manager read this and take heed.

It was my first time there. Ordered the Steak Fajita. Meat was VERY tough and pieces were very big. It was a different cut of beef, but it was NOT STEAK. Another person in our party ordered the chicken. wrap which had no flavor. Someone else ordered Taco Salad and I have never seen or heard of potato chunks in one before. Very disappointed. I've had better at other Mexican restaurants. Will not be back.

Amazing food at a great price. I was astonished with the variety of dishes they offer. I ate the Veracruz Chicken and it was delicious. Friendly staff, great service. Will visit again when I visits this side of NC. (Sorry no pictures, we were really hungry).
