Every January (weather permitting) this church celebrates an old English feast dating back hundred of years. There are dozens of costumed actors, representing town folk and guild masters who parade before the King and Queen for the Boar's Head feast and celebration of the Christ child. The event is free but afterwards there is a feast with tickets for sale.
I was visiting from OR, last Fall, in late September of 2019. The church was as lovely as the congregants and clergy. Will definitely visit again when my travels bring me back.
Every year they have a block party just before school starts. I know a lot of people that attend church here and everyone is nice/friendly.
I haven't been there but have heard good things about it.
