Moved down south from Pa. Tried 3 other pizza places in the last few days. All less than great. I’d stopped into Mario’s by mistake and when I realized I’d ordered from a different shop I knew I’d messed up. I swallowed my pride(the other shops pizza too unfortunately) and took the hit but knew I’d be backnnUsually I just spend my time up north complaining about how bad the soul food is ;)nnStopped back in to MARIOS today for two slices and WOW! Perfect pizza. Reminds me of my summers in New York. The slice size, the sauce/cheese ratio, the perfect amount of flour dust when you take a bite!nnBravo, Mario! You’ve got a customer feeling at home away from home. See you tomorrow

One of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to. Best steak and cheese from the south I’ve ever had. Will definitely come again! Deserves more than 5 stars definitely 500.

I recently ordered from Mario’s and was completely dissatisfied. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and mild wings. The lady on the phone told me it would take about 25 minutes. I showed up at about 20 minutes after the call was placed. When I walked in to the restaurant there were two people in the kitchen area who turned around and looked at me, but did not say anything to me. So I stood there for about two minutes until a lady finally walked over to give me service. My pizza was not even lukewarm the wings were dry. I came home and put the pizza in the oven. I feel if I’m paying $15 for a pizza it should be hot when I arrive. Terrible service, terrible Pizza and a waste of money

Best pizza in New Bern. Closest pizza to NYC pizza I’ve eaten on the southeast coast tbh. Good crisp to the crust but with enough flop and chew to it. Definitely had some crunch to it which I love. No grease but full of flavor. I ate the medium and large cheese slices. If I’m wanting more of a NY style pizza I’m coming here.

First time trying Marios Pizza and it was great. Just like I ordered it and the crust was awesome. Mario’s just got a new regular customer. Nice spices that you can’t get anywhere else in town.
